About Gumbo:                           Gumbo was rescued as a 5-month old puppy from Baton Rouge.  We fell in love with his almost all-white coat with black "ticking" from the start.  Gumbo is a happy dog and always seems to be smiling, with the corners of his mouth turned up, his tongue hanging out and his tail curled tight over his back. 

                                                Gumbo is a very gentle dog and seems to have an intuitive sense of the situation he's in.  He's comfortable with people of all ages.  However, being a border collie, if a tennis ball shows up, all bets are off!
